On May 14 began the fist golf camp for this year of the National Golf Team of Bulgaria. The camp was arranged in cooperation with the BGA (PBGA) and Alan Rogut - Golf development Manager in BGA. The coaches of the national selection, which will represent Bulgaria in International amateur golf tournaments - Neal Turley and Nikolay Stanew were quite strict, but pleased that the future of amateur golf is in their hands.
The camp began with a meeting of the players and short briefing of their tasks and obligations. The coaches made very serious program for the trainees, including golf on the course, practice and individual tasks. All team members had their golf motion analyzed with S&M Put Lab and Golf video analysis by Nikolay Stanew.
The flood rain on Saturday didn't give the keen golfers from Par Tee Golf Club and their guests a scare of playing in the Par Tee Open - Spring 2010. All golfers came back with good results, despite of the bad weather and had the opportunity to feel the warmth and comfort of the Clubhouse after finishing.
28 golfers took part in the tournament , divided in Two divisions: А (hcp 0 - 18) and B (hcp 19 - 54 ) Mr. Roberto Mladenov - Secretary of Par Tee Golf Club and Mr. Nikolay Kaloyanov - President of PGCC bestowed the prizes to the winners. Kiril Marinov - the youngest member of Par Tee Golf Club won the first place in Class A with 37 Net Stableford points. The winner in Class B is Nikolay Savov - 18 year old member of PGCC, who won a prize in every tournament so far.
